DeLana Lynn Harvick [ane] (née Linville; born July 7, 1973) is a quondam co-possessor and manager of Kevin Harvick Incorporated, a racing team in NASCAR's Nationwide and Camping ground World Truck Serial. It was appear in September 2011 KHI was being sold to Richard Childress, owner of Richard Childress Racing.[two] She is married to NASCAR Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick.

A native of Kernersville, Northward Carolina, Harvick has been around car racing for practically all her life. Her first visit to a race track came at three weeks quondam.[3] She is the daughter of former Busch Serial driver John Linville and Joyce Linville[four] and grew upwards around garages and race tracks.[5] After high school she earned a college degree from the University of Northward Carolina-Greensboro.[3]
DeLana first met Kevin in 2000 during a race at Michigan International Speedway. At the time she was working in public relations for commuter Randy LaJoie. DeLana had previously worked in a similar capacity for Jeff Gordon and had fifty-fifty dabbled in race driving herself.[6] DeLana and Kevin were married on February 28, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada, shortly after Harvick fabricated his Loving cup debut.[seven] Unlike many NASCAR wives, she can often exist seen during a race on peak of the pit box wearing a custom-made fire-conform.[viii]

In 2010 DeLana and Kevin established the Kevin Harvick Foundation (KHF). The foundation supports programs that enrich the lives of children throughout the United states of america. Programs such equally the Kevin Harvick Athletic Scholarship Fund at California State University, Bakersfield and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, a camper cabin at Victory Junction Gang Campsite, Baptist Children'southward Homes of NC, Boys & Girls Clubs and Kevin'due south Krew are aimed at not only improving the quality of life of underprivileged youth in the short term, but to besides realize and pursue their dreams in life.[3] The annual "Happy'due south Classic Golf game Tournament", held in Kevin'due south native Bakersfield, California,[10] and the Kevin Harvick Foundation Pro-Am golf event in Greensboro, North Carolina[11] assistance fund the foundations activities.
